...get to know me

My name is Blair Richmond and I am a Rich Media specialist. I recently graduated from the Interactive Design program at Capilano College. I grew up in Whistler, BC enjoying all the outdoor activities the small community has to offer.

Since I was two years old I've had either a snowboard or skis under my feet, with a preference to the latter. My biggest hobby turned career has been filmmaking. Since I was 11 years old I have combined my love of filmmaking with my love of skiing, creating a unique ski and snowboard film almost every season.

Through skiing and the production of ski films I found my next greatest passion, film editing. Film editing gave me the chance to express my creativty through my favourite sport and favourite hobby.

Now that I am all grown up I have turned my focus on making a career out of these passions. I am currently working with Theory-3 Media, which you can learn more about in the partners page, on their next professional ski film, PNW. I have been fortunate to travel all around the Pacific Northwest for the production of this film and I wouldn't have been able to do so if it wasn't for my parents' love for skiing and my own for filmmaking.
